At the top of Queen Street:   Mrs Pickwick’s, selling sewing materials and much more from a timber framed grade II listed building dating the early 1500s.  Mrs Pickwick (Margaret Healey) herself stands in the doorway.  Next door is her brother’s shop F W Brown, clock maker.  At the back, in Tithe Barn Street, is a building incorporating the remains of the old tithe barn.
