The Horbury Victoria Band Banner.  The band was formed in 1866 and is an important feature of township life, playing on such occasions as The Remembrance day parade,  the street fair and Horbury Show both in June,  and of course a Christmas concert.  They are doing very well in brass band competitions and provide a sound musical training for young people.  The banner was stitched by Betty Machin
